Downloads from the Lord: Let’s Cancel the Cancel Culture! Part Two

In chapters 5 – 8 of “Condition of the United States 2021 and beyond” I posted an in-depth explanation of what the powers-that-be have been establishing for many years. If you recall, I referred to them as ideology number one. Gaining control of the seven influential segments of society and using them to bring about changes that fit their objectives has been their goal. To refresh your memory, here are those seven areas of influence:

1. Academia/Education

2. Family

3. Government

4. Media/News

5. Arts/Entertainment

6. Business/Finance

7. Church/Religion

I have observed that any verbal or written words that the powers-that-be deem to be offensive can be grounds for them to “cancel” you in any number of ways. They may ban you from social media, or even go as far as arresting you on the grounds of “Hate Speech.” In most cases, by far, hate is not that person’s motivation at all. However, if the powers-that-be say that it is hate, the media and the courts will back them because the powers-that-be are in control of all seven influential segments of society. It is very clear that most, if not all, that’s branded as hate speech is because of differences of opinion regarding these seven influential segments of society. We’ll take a closer look at that right now.

As I have stated previously, I’m not particularly interested in someone’s opinion regarding truth. The Holy Bible is and always will be my source of truth. Chapter one of the blog topic; “Condition of the United States 2021 and beyond” expresses my stand on the Bible very clearly.

I will spend some time letting The Holy Bible declare what is truth and show that it is not hate speech at all.

John 14:6 (NIV) 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

1. Academia/Education:

James 3:1 (MSG)
1Don’t be in any rush to become a teacher, my friends. Teaching is highly responsible work. Teachers are held to the strictest standards.

1 Timothy 6:3-4 (NIV)
3 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions

2 Timothy 4:3 (NLT2)
3For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.

Isaiah 54:13 (MSG)
13 All your children will have GOD for their teacher— what a mentor for your children!

In future posts I will continue with this introspective look into why differences of opinion do not constitute hate speech. It is not hate at all, not by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, the Bible teaches us just the opposite!

Matthew 5:43-45 (NKJV)
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

That doesn’t sound like a reason to cancel because of hate; in fact, it’s just the opposite. It sounds like love to me!
