God so Loved the World that He Gave His Son: The greatest Spiritual battle ever fought – part thirty one

It is 5:40 on Friday evening and I’m just finding time to work on the blog post for this week. Once again I’ve been asking the Holy Spirit what He would have me write about, but nothing so far. Whoa… wait a minute; I believe He wants me to go into a bit of a rant regarding something that happened this week.

I recently became aware that the school district where we happen to reside made some decisions that caused me, and a lot of our friends, to really get upset. Some of the decisions were so hard to believe that it caused parents to enroll their children in neighboring school districts and some to private schools. The decisions, for the most part, were aligning with the popular “woke” agenda. Here are some examples of the decisions in question:

• Children who identify as the opposite gender would be allowed to use the restroom of their choice.
• Litter boxes would be placed in restrooms for children who identified as “Furries.”
• Teachers must use the “proper” pronouns when talking to or about the children.

Please read the Bible Proverb below and we’ll discuss the implications of it:

⁶ Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.

Proverbs 22:6 indicates to me that children are very, very impressionable! They tend to believe whatever is presented to them as truth, especially when it is comes to them from adults they respect! Now I’m getting closer to my rant!

I admit that I do not have solid proof of some of the accusations that I mentioned above. Whether the ridiculous things mentioned are true or half true, you can judge for yourself. I do know, however, that this type of absurdity is going on all over the country, and it stands to reason that it is seeping into our local school systems. We know that for a fact! My current rant, however, isn’t about the ridiculous things mentioned above. Okay… here’s my rant!

As we witness the atrocities going on around us, we are being encouraged to take action. We are urged get involved. Run for your local school board if you would like to see changes made that are healthy and moral. Well… four people saw the need and their names were on the ballet for four available positions on the board of the school I reference in this blog. This took a lot of courage and resolve on their part, but they did it! I happen to know one of the four personally, someone of moral character who has a caring heart.  All four were endorsed by a group of mothers called “Moms for Liberty.”  These are four good honest people who put themselves out there for the sake of the children.

So… if you had to guess, how many of the four do you think were elected to that school board last Tuesday?

Not one of them was elected! WHY you ask? Okay… here’s more of my RANT… The conservative Christian community let them down!!! As I said before, they put themselves out there for the good of the children. All that Christians had to do was VOTE, and obviously didn’t!!! When I looked to see the results from Tuesday’s election it made me heart sick. We must wake-up and do better as Christians… at least for the children!

Lord please help us who are called by Your Name, to wake-up and at least be willing to do a simple thing like vote! Amen!
