God so Loved the World that He Gave His Son: The greatest Spiritual battle ever fought – part thirty five
Last week I wrote about the prophetic message that Pastor Kent Christmas shared with his congregation the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I’m not sure how many people viewed his video on YouTube after reading last week’s blog, because I didn’t receive any feedback about it. His message pertained to an experience he had with God… well, here is the paragraph about his encounter with God that I copied from last week’s blog:
(In the early morning hours of Friday morning, November 24, Pastor Kent received a prophetic message from the Lord that brought me to tears when I heard it. He then delivered the message to his congregation on Sunday, November 26. I STRONGLY encourage everyone reading this blog post to go to the following video and watch Pastor Kent’s encouraging message:
Go to YouTube and type “Pastor Kent Christmas Powerful Prophetic Word November 26.” Select the video that is 36:54 minutes in length to get his message only, without the music and announcements.)
So why am I going over this again? Because last Sunday a personal friend of ours shared about an experience he and his wife had while they were with a tour group in Israel in October. They were there when Israel came under attack, and they spent many hours in a bomb shelter while explosions were happening all around them. To paraphrase our friend, he expressed it as a spiritual experience! It was a Christian group that they were with and he described it as sensing the shelter was filled with the presence of angelic beings. They could not be seen, but could be powerfully felt! Our friend then shared that he was caught up to a different level, and had a personal encounter with God! He shared in his own words…”I’ll never be the same!”
I believe that our friend experienced what Pastor Christmas had shared in the YouTube video described above. I tell you folks, I’m getting goose bumps as I am typing these words!
I know for a fact that God will confirm anything He is saying or revealing. He does not expect us to act on, anything that isn’t confirmed by two or three witnesses:
Deuteronomy 19:15 (ESV)
15 “A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established.
Matthew 18:16 (ESV)
16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.
2 Corinthians 13:1 (ESV)
1 This is the third time I am coming to you. Every charge must be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.
I am convinced that God was confirming to me the authenticity of Pastor Christmas’s message with the testimony of my friend and his encounter, “one-on-one,” with the Lord!
I’m hoping and praying that this will peak your interest, and you will seek out the prophetic message from the Lord that Pastor Christmas shared in his video!!!! Let me know if you have seen or heard anything that would add confirmation to my story. Remember… two or three witnesses, and I’m sure that four or five witnesses would be amazing!
I’m still very interested in hearing how other people felt about his message and would appreciate hearing from many of you.
