God so Loved the World that He Gave His Son: The greatest Spiritual battle ever fought – part forty two
This morning (Thursday), my wife Shirley and I were reading in Exodus chapter 14 as part of our Bible reading assignment for the day. This is the chapter that describes God parting the Red Sea, allowing the Israelites to cross through it on dry land. Pharaoh’s army was chasing the Israelites through the sea, and God caused the water to flow back over them, drowning the entire Egyptian army. This event in history is often referred to as a “Red Sea Moment.”
As we often do, we paused for a while to talk about what we had just read. We agreed that our country, and the entire world, could certainly use a “Red Sea Moment” right now! A “Red Sea Moment” to free us from the corruption and tyranny that is taking place all around us. Just as the Egyptian’s were seeking to keep the Israelites in bondage, there is a world-wide faction of society that is working tirelessly to maintain power and keep the rest of us in a form of bondage! President Trump calls it “The Swamp,” others refer to it as “Globalist Elites” or “The Cabal!”
The Bible tells us that this lust for control and world domination can be traced all the way back to the Tower of Babel:
Genesis 11:4-8 (NIV)
4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” 5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” 8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.
There have been countless attempts throughout history to achieve world domination. You know the ones: Alexander the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolph Hitler, Mao Tse Tung, just to mention a few. These were all attempts to gain world domination by force. Today the tactics are much more subtle, and sadly, this isn’t a conspiracy theory. They don’t even try to hide it. We have all heard the terms: New World Order, One World Government, or Globalist agenda. Wake-up Folks! This is happening all around us. Do you remember President Barack Obama saying, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America, as he spoke to a crowd in Columbia, Missouri on Oct. 30, 2008? People thought he was referring to equal rights for all people, when in fact he was talking about transforming the United States into a country that would easily fit into the one world government agenda. Take a look around at this country’s current condition; we are on the precipice of that very situation!
Have you heard the name Klaus Schwab, founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum? He is an extremely powerful man who is working to lead the world into a “Global Reset!” That would be a world where The United States of America would be just another country of the world, no stronger, no more influential than any other country! Do you realize that is why President Trump talks about making America great again? He is aware of, and fighting against, the one world government agenda!
I’m now writing on Friday afternoon to finish this post. Today, we have all been hearing about the air strikes the United States just leveled on Syria in response to the attack that killed three U.S. soldiers a few days ago. We are edging closer and closer to World War III! The Bible talks about this time that we are living in:
Matthew 24:3-7 (NIV)
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.“
We will pick up the discussion about the attempt to form a one world government next week. Now is the time to be in prayer for our country and the world!
Lord, our trust is in You at this time! We refuse to be distracted by the efforts of Satan! We pray for safety for our service men and women who are in harm’s way as they are protecting us from evil! Amen
