Chapter 11 – Jesus and more about the unseen world

In my blog post from last Friday I said, “I will have a lot more to say about the unseen Spiritual realm next week. You won’t want to miss it!” Well… here we go, however, I will start out with a bit of a rant:

We currently have freedoms in this country like no other country in the world. We are free to live whatever lifestyle we choose, and we can pretty much say whatever is on our mind. Please ask yourself this question… “Do I value those freedoms?” I ask that question because we are right now moving into an election season that could change life as we know it! This election will most likely determine whether we retain the freedoms we cherish or give them up to a Marxist/Communist/Socialist form of government!!!! Please ponder the following statements very carefully!

1. You may or may not support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in this election, but here are some things to seriously consider:
2. Donald Harris, father of Kamala Harris, is described as “a combative Marxist economist.’
3. Kamala Harris talks of ideas and policies that are at the very least Socialism possibly Marxist/Communist.
4. Kamala Harris has been described as the most Socialist Senator during her time in the U.S. Senate.
5. Tim Walz, by his own admission, has visited Communist China about 30 times and has Communist ties.
6. Tim Walz, as Governor of Minnesota, is described as a strong Communist/Socialist.
7. Tim and his wife, Gwyn, spent their honeymoon in Communist China.  

• You may or may not support Donald Trump and J.D. Vance in this election, but here are some things to seriously consider:
• Donald Trump, as the President of the United States, strongly upheld the Constitution of the United States.
• Donald Trump is not a perfect man; however, he believes in freedom and America first, then the world!
• Donald Trump believes in Freedom of Religion, no matter what you choose to believe/worship!
• J.D. Vance is a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord through his Catholic faith!
• J.D. Vance indorses policies that promote strong families and the rights of individuals!
• J.D. Vance has been a well thought of Senator during his time in the U.S. Senate.

Now for my rant: Whatever is important and dear to who you are as a person, could easily be lost if the Communist/Socialist/Marxist policies of Harris/Walz is voted into office! Here are some examples of freedoms that could easily be lost in this election:

1. Freedom of speech, freedom to say what we believe openly!
2. Freedom to openly worship as a Christian, a Jew, a Hindu, a Muslim, or any other religious belief!
3. Freedom to openly live as a LGBTQIA+ individual in a Communist/Socialist/Marxist country! (LGBTQIA+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or sometimes questioning), intersex, asexual, and others. The “plus” represents other sexual identities, including pansexual and Two-Spirit.)
4. Freedom of Assembly, gathering together in groups, even peacefully!
5. Freedom to openly protest!

We see this beginning to happen with the current “Left wing, woke, Progressive, wanna-be Socialist, Communist, Marxist,” administration that is now in office! Some people may say that it’s only happening to the groups or factions that I don’t like or agree with, so, I think it’s a good thing! Well folks… wait till it begins affecting the group you are a part of, or one you support! Look around you, wake-up and smell the garbage… it would happen, and is happening already!

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely!!! It’s all about power and control! It is scary to consider what would happen if a Harris/Walz administration was given control of all three branches of government!!!

I am not just being an alarmist. Try openly being a part of any of the freedom groups listed above in Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea, and many other Socialist, Communist, Marxist, countries. Hopefully not the USA! You would be imprisoned if not executed!!! Consider all of this before saying, “I just can’t stand Trump!” He may very well be the man who will work to keep us free!

Now on to the unseen realm as I promised!!!

Ephesians 6:12 (NLT)
¹²For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

I believe this passage of Scripture is referring to everything I wrote about in the first part of this blog post! There is a battle raging in the unseen, Heavenly realm! It is a war between the forces of Good and the forces of Evil!

The forces of Good consist of Almighty God (The Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit), His Angelic beings (Angels), and every person who has openly received Jesus as their personal Savior! That is what we refer to as being Born-Again. Ephesians 6 goes on to say this about the fierce fight we are part of:

Ephesians 6:13–18 (NLT)
¹³Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. ¹⁴Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. ¹⁵For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. ¹⁶In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. ¹⁷Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ¹⁸Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

The forces of Evil consist of Satan (The Devil), his demonic forces (the fallen angels), and every person who has not openly received Jesus as their personal Savior! It greaves me to have to say that. However, the Bible (God’s Holy book), makes it painfully clear that if a person has not received Jesus as their personal Savior, they are automatically a member of the other side because of sin:

Romans 3:23–24 (NLT)
²³For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. ²⁴Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

John 8:42–47 (NLT)
⁴²Jesus told them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. ⁴³Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me! ⁴⁴For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. ⁴⁵So when I tell the truth, you just naturally don’t believe me! ⁴⁶Which of you can truthfully accuse me of sin? And since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me? ⁴⁷Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God. But you don’t listen because you don’t belong to God.”

It’s not that an unsaved person is any more sinful than a Born-Again Child of God. It’s just that the Born-Again Child of God, by an act of their free will, has had their sins forgiven! They are cleansed by the Atoning Blood that Jesus shed on the Cross for our sins!

Let’s reflect back now to the beginning of this post. It’s not that Donald Trump and J.D. Vance are any better than Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. However, it is pretty obvious that the platforms and policies that each side stands for, that Trump and Vance are standing for Godly, Biblical policies, while Harris and Walz stand for what the Bible calls sin.

So, what is our role in this war of Good vs Evil?

1. Make sure that we are right with Jesus.
2. Pray for both sides that they would be committed to Jesus Christ, and align themselves with God’s Word.
3. My advice… be led by the Holy Spirit on which side to support.
4. With the Holy Spirit’s help, pray that we can discern the Good side from the Evil side.
5. The Holy Spirit is leading me to: work for, support, and defend President Donald Trump and Senator J.D. Vance who appear to have chosen to align with Good (vs Evil)!

Heavenly Father, please help us to see this political season through Your Eyes and choose wisely. Amen
