Chapter 21 – Jesus is Lord! Give Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving! Shirley and I hope that each of you had a wonderful time with family and friends. We have so much to be thankful for as citizens of the United States of America. We have all heard it said that even the ones who have the least in this country, are far better off than many of the people around the world. Thank You Lord for Your many Blessings!

I was reflecting on yesterday at our daughter and son-in-law’s house. I was almost brought to tears thinking about the time spent with loved ones, and the food… oh my, did we ever have delicious food! And soooo much good food! I can’t take God’s goodness for granted. I am blessed beyond measure!

I started thinking about a song that we used to sing a lot in church. I was singing it to myself when I believe the Lord spoke to my mind and said, “Share this song with your blog readers.” So here are the words to the song “Give Thanks”, written by Henry Smith and sung by Don Moen:
