The second ideology

  • The second ideology I’ll discuss is the one that says, “If you put your trust in us, we will strive to make plans and decisions according to the United States Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. These are the God-inspired documents that this country was founded on. “In God we trust” is our country’s motto!

    The Constitution was written to establish the basic principles of the legal, political and economic systems of this country. It is no more out of date and needing changes than the Holy Bible. It’s interesting isn’t it, that the people of ideology number one are trying to change both of them to better fit their goals and aspirations. We’ll talk more about this later.

    The United States of America was established on the premise that all people are created equal by God, the God of the Bible. We are created with certain unalienable rights: three of them being Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

    We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.

    Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, and Petition are just a few of the rights and privileges we hold dear. Ideology number two strongly believes and holds to these rights as being true, precious and beyond debate! It’s very interesting to me that any leader, or prospective leader, who holds to the founding documents of this country, by default, will lead and govern in a Godly manner. They will be following the precepts of the Bible. There is no way to separate the two; they are so closely intertwined! 


This approach is much more comforting than the one that is based on the thoughts and ideas of an individual or group of people that believe they know more than God! This 2nd ideology doesn’t seek world domination or supreme power. In fact, it is the people, inspired by God, who hold the power and control. Wow! What a concept!

Stop and think now…why did the settlers come to America? Wasn’t it to escape the kind of tyranny that ideology number one represents. It makes a person wonder… is that why there is a major push in this country to try to eradicate or at least change our history and our founding documents? As I said earlier, we’ll talk more about this later.
