Let’s dig a little deeper into the way ideology number one is using each of the seven influential segments of society to their advantage. Part 3
5) Arts / Entertainment
Many of the movies, plays and television shows of today have taken on a less than wholesome position in our country. The producers would say, that’s what the people are demanding, and there’s probably some truth to that. It’s all about me, and whatever feels good / right to me, is an attitude that permeates our culture today. This attitude feeds the base nature that attempts to bring us down morally as a society. That is exactly where the anti-God people want us to plummet. A morally corrupt culture becomes easy pickings for ideology number one.
6) Business / Finance
Government interference in private business is at an all-time high. The government is demanding that businesses comply with their rules and mandates or suffer stiff repercussions. Meaning, no government contracts, IRS investigations or possible closure. These heavy-handed tactics are not what this country was founded on.
The government is now attempting to monitor everyone’s bank accounts and financial transactions. This defiantly sounds to me like “Big Brother is Watching” and that is truly scary! This is beyond a doubt, ideology number one at work big time!
I am hearing reports that the government is now wanting to tax the appreciation on your home now, not when you sell. More ideology number one tax and spend.
7) Church / Religion
The Christian Church is the greatest threat to the intentions of ideology number one. That is why they are attempting to silence the Church. Did you notice that during the Covid 19 national quarantine they attempted to keep churches closed as non-essential, while leaving bars and strip clubs open? WOW! They realize that Almighty God is ultimately against them in this battle. Remember the passage of Scripture I shared in chapter two:
23 “This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you’re not on my side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you’re making things worse.” Luke 11:23 (MSG)
Have you observed any of the Senate or House of Representatives hearings from our nation’s capital recently? Any references to God, the Bible or Christion principals are quickly squelched by many of our elected officials, as irrelevant. Friends, nothing could be more relevant! They are attempting to make Almighty God irrelevant!
Claims that the United States is no longer a Christion nation angers me more than almost anything else! Just because unbelievers and people of other faiths are living in this country, doesn’t mean that God no longer rules over The United States of America! We are still “Under God” as we recite in the Pledge of Allegiance!
