God so Loved the World that He Gave His Son: The greatest Spiritual battle ever fought –
part twenty-one

For the last few weeks we have been talking about our “corrupt U.S. government.” This week we will continue on the same, sad, uncomfortable, road that we have been trudging down. Let me start off this week with a question: Have you ever had your heart set on a nice, cold, crisp lettuce salad, or wanted some lettuce to top off the gourmet sandwich that’s just waiting for your first bite? You went to your refrigerator, pulled out the crisper drawer, and found spoiled lettuce. I mean limp, soggy, mushy, unusable lettuce! At first you try to pick out a few usable pieces, but soon realize that there is nothing you can do at this point but THROW IT OUT!

I’m getting to the place where I believe we have a spoiled, limp, soggy, mushy, unusable U.S. government, and the only thing that can be done now is to THROW IT OUT! President Trump referred to it as “draining the swamp.” Okay, great, how can that be accomplished? There are so many federal government employees in Washington D.C. that it would put countless thousands of people out in the street. I don’t believe this can be done by human hands! Way too complex!

To accomplish “draining the swamp,” any president, whether it be Donald J. Trump or any other conservative, would have a monumental (if not impossible) task ahead of them. That person would require Almighty God going before them to accomplish what only He can do! So… does God ever do anything like that! Is it in His nature? See below

Romans 13:1 (MSG)
1 Be a good citizen. All governments are under God. Insofar as there is peace and order, it’s God’s order.

This means that God has ordained government and that the role and purpose of government is mandated by Him!

Daniel 2:20-22 (MSG)
20 saying, “Blessed be the name of God, forever and ever. He knows all, does all: 21 He changes the seasons and guides history, He raises up kings and also brings them down, he provides both intelligence and discernment, 22 He opens up the depths, tells secrets, sees in the dark—light spills out of him!

Please don’t misunderstand what I’m saying here. As Christians, we need to be involved in government at some level, as God has called us and equipped us! We can’t afford to sit back and allow the liberals to run the government as is the current situation! What I’m calling for, looking for and praying for is a “GOD SIZED” overthrow of the current swamp mess! Then it will require Christians/conservatives to take positions in government to hold onto what I’m praying will be a “Great God Reset!” Case in point, see below:

Esther 7:1-10 (MSG)
1 So the king and Haman went to dinner with Queen Esther. 2 At this second dinner, while they were drinking wine the king again asked, “Queen Esther, what would you like? Half of my kingdom! Just ask and it’s yours.” 3 Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor in your eyes, O King, and if it please the king, give me my life, and give my people their lives. 4 “We’ve been sold, I and my people, to be destroyed—sold to be massacred, eliminated. If we had just been sold off into slavery, I wouldn’t even have brought it up; our troubles wouldn’t have been worth bothering the king over.” 5 King Xerxes exploded, “Who? Where is he? This is monstrous!” 6 “An enemy. An adversary. This evil Haman,” said Esther. Haman was terror-stricken before the king and queen. 7 The king, raging, left his wine and stalked out into the palace garden. Haman stood there pleading with Queen Esther for his life—he could see that the king was finished with him and that he was doomed. 8 As the king came back from the palace garden into the banquet hall, Haman was groveling at the couch on which Esther reclined. The king roared out, “Will he even molest the queen while I’m just around the corner?” When that word left the king’s mouth, all the blood drained from Haman’s face. 9 Harbona, one of the eunuchs attending the king, spoke up: “Look over there! There’s the gallows that Haman had built for Mordecai, who saved the king’s life. It’s right next to Haman’s house—seventy-five feet high!” The king said, “Hang him on it!” 10 So Haman was hanged on the very gallows that he had built for Mordecai. And the king’s hot anger cooled.

That was a “God Sized Event!”
Be praying for a “God Sized Event” that will re-establish our government and save the United States of America!
